** The Arrowhead Regional Arts Council to Hold Regional
Grant Writing Workshops

The Arrowhead Regional Arts Council (ARAC) is holding free
grant writing workshops for individual artists and arts
organizations in four communities in the Arrowhead Region.
Bob DeArmond, Executive Director, and Jean Sramek, Program
Assistant of the ARAC, will host these two hour meetings.

needs in your community or county. Your input is important
in helping the ARAC understand how it can best serve the
arts in the Region.

The majority of each meeting will be spent explaining what
is involved in submitting an application to the ARAC grant
programs. DeArmond will explain the Council's three grant
programs for organizations and Sramek will explain the
Council's three individual artist programs. Program
guidelines and application forms will be available at the
meetings. DeArmond and Sramek will leave time to be
available to answer individual questions concerning possible
grant proposals following the workshops.

The workshops are free and open to all individuals living in
the seven county area of northeastern Minnesota: Aitkin,
Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake and St. Louis
Counties. You may contract the ARAC office if you are unable
to attend one of these workshops and would like assistance
with a grant application. The dates and locations of the
