isn't necessary, just come with a willingness to learn. Some
genre group possibilities are Poetry, Writing for Children,

Writing groups offer a time to share work with others, offer
supportive feedback, and learn more about the writing process.

October 21, Thursday, 11:30 am, Chester Creek Cafe downstairs.
Do you remember hearing about the Algonquin Round Table, where
friends met regularly to discuss literature and the literary
scene? Well, LSW is establishing a Writers' Square Table.
We'll meet the third Thursday of each month to discuss books,
writing, and literary matters. We will not critique individual
manuscripts.
Please place your order as you enter, and pick up water, silverware
and a napkin. Your lunch order will be brought downstairs
to you.
This is an open group open to all LSW members, friends, and
the Duluth literary community. Pass the word. Please call
Mara (728-1253) if you have questions. We look forward to
seeing you on the 21st.

CORRECTION: In the Fall LSW Newsletter, The Notebook, we mistakenly
stated that Northern Lights Bookstore offers special discounts
to LSW members. Northern Lights, a local independent bookstore,
offers frequent buyer discounts in the store and has provided
LSW with generous gifts in support of local writers, for which
we are most grateful. We regret any confusion caused by our
error.
