***LSW MEMBER KUDOS!

LINDA GLASER's children's book Our Big Home, An Earth Poem, was featured on Reading Rainbow (national public TV) this September as part of a four-part remembrance and healing after 9/11. The show focussed on global unity and took place, in part, at the U.N. The show was premiered at the United Nations on International Literacy Day for the delegates and their children. LaVar Burton spoke. And Elisa Kleven (the illustrator) and Linda Glaser signed their book in the U.N. bookstore. Glaser said, "It was quite a high for both of us." Glaser also received an ARAC grant to complete a historical middle grade novel.
