the basics of running a writers' support group.
LSW ANNOUNCEMENTS
Thanks to your generous support, we now have a Room
of Our Own! On July 1, Lake Superior Writers will move into
our new office space in the Marshall School Annex on Rice
Lake Road. This is a dream that has been a long time coming
and we want to extend a warm thank you to all of the members
who have donated their money to help us reach this milestone.
A celebration is being planned, and we'll be sending out invitations
to all of our members once the details are firmed up. In the
meantime, we need to set up house.
Our wish list includes these things: Hanging file folders,
stapler, desk chair, side chair, floor lamp, table lamp, printer,
bulletin board, posters/artwork/prints, printing paper, dictionary,
thesaurus, reference books on writing & publishing, waste
basket, coffee pot, and coffee cups. If you are able to donate
any of the following items to LSW, please call Suzanna at
727-1480. "Between Flesh and Stone," Lake
Superior Writers' anthology of winning manuscripts for our
2002 contest has just been released. Twenty winning poetry
and prose writers are featured in this lovely book, which
is available to LSW members at the discounted rate of $8.00.
